
LOUIS E. COSTELLO, M.D.
Louis E. Costello, M.D. is board certified in Child, Adolescent, and Adult Psychiatry and has been in practice in the DFW, North Texas area since 1996. He has been practicing in his current location in Highland Village, Texas since 2012. Dr. Costello trained at University of Texas Southwestern in Psychiatry, and he is a Fellow in the American Psychiatric Association. He is recognized for his continued dedication to excellence in clinical care and makes every effort to use the most up-to-date psychiatric assessment, medication management and treatment strategies which are conservative, compassionate, and research-based.
Dr. Costello was the first TMS clinical provider in the state of Texas and in the DFW area to use FDA approved TMS treatment for Major Depressive Disorder. Because of Dr. Costello’s mission to provide the highest quality medical care to his patients, he endeavors to create a professional and calming environment at DFW TMS resulting in the most comprehensive and individualized psychiatric care which includes the following: evaluations, referrals to other medical and psychological caregivers, individual therapy and parent and family guidance. Dr. Costello’s goal is for each patient to become as reasonably joyful and functional as their individual strengths will allow them to be.

Meredith Hake, RN, FPMHNP completed her Master of Science in Nursing in 2007, and is a Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She received an Honors Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. She has spent the last 10 years working extensively with patients of all ages with depression, anxiety, autism, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mental health disorders. Prior to completing her Master’s degree she worked for 8 years with children and their families at Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth, TX.
Meredith has worked with Dr. Costello at DFW TMS since 2010. She is a certified rTMS technician, and has attended Neurostar Pioneer’s Conferences in Chicago and Atlanta. Meredith has seen the benefit of TMS therapy in her patients, and truly believes that TMS is a key part of treatment for medication resistant depression.
Outside of work, Meredith enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She is actively involved with her children’s school as well as her church and her community. She is also involved with the Nursing Program at the University of Texas at Arlington, working to help train future Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners.

Patricia Brooks, RN, PMHNP is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner caring for patients of all ages. She is the newest member of DFW TMS, joining the team in 2018. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing from University of Texas at Arlington and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of California Irvine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. Prior to entering the field of psychiatry, she spent most of her nursing career working in the Neurological Intensive Care Unit, caring for patients with strokes or traumatic brain injuries, and supporting their families.
Patricia completed the PULSES TMS training course and attended the International TMS conference in New York City in 2018. Patricia believes in the value and benefit of rTMS for patients with treatment resistant depression and has seen the positive effect rTMS has made in their lives.
Patricia enjoys spending time with her family when she is not working. She has also served as Secretary for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Association of North Texas and as an area representative for the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Association of Texas.

Suzanne, TMS Coordinator and Certified TMS Technician
Suzanne has served as a Certified TMS Technician and as the DFW TMS Coordinator since 2014. With a Marketing degree from Texas State University and a 25 year career in sales and marketing with four Fortune 100 Corporations, Suzanne brings a different perspective to DFW TMS. As the TMS Coordinator she works every day to help educate patients regarding how TMS treatment works. If patients are using insurance, she then ensures the patient’s insurer is aligned with prescribed treatment plan. Once patients are approved, Suzanne is an integral part of the healing process for our patients as she is in the treatment room with them facilitating the CBT programming we use with each DFW TMS patient. Her contagious enthusiasm, love for life and care for our patients brings an added value to our TMS services! Suzanne loves her job, because she is able to physically watch patients become free of depression in just 36 quick treatment sessions!
In her spare time Suzanne enjoys reading and organic vegetable gardening. She is a bee-keeper and also maintains several composting earth worm farms. She is very involved in her church and active in our community. Suzanne loves to travel and has attend the International Clinical TMS Society meetings in Atlanta, San Diego, New York, and Vancouver.

Kaitlyn, Front Office Assistant and Certified TMS Technician
Kaitlyn is an intern here at DFW TMS. She is currently completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Sports Science from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX. Kaitlyn has worked in an array of fields including customer service and marketing and she hopes one day to pursue a career in medical sales. In her spare time Kaitlyn enjoys exercising in a variety of different settings and spending time with her family and friends.
As an invaluable asset to our clinic, in addition to being trained as a Certified TMS Technician, Kaitlyn checks our patients in and out and assists in other departments as needed. Kaitlyn is excited to be a part of the team here as DFW TMS as it has been an eye-opening experience for her to witness the benefits of psychiatric care and the impact of TMS treatments on patients who are dealing with Major Depressive Disorder.

Brandi, Front Office Assistant
Brandi joined our team in April of 2021 working as one of our front desk receptionists. Previously, she worked as a Flight Attendant for five years. Through that job she learned how much she loves to travel and meet new people. Brandi has always wanted to work in the medical field and finds her job at the clinic very rewarding. She loves connecting with our patients and seeing their growth throughout their treatment with us. She looks forward to continuing her career in this field and learning more every day.
In Brandi’s spare time she loves spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading and traveling. Brandi is an asset to The Costello Clinic by checking patients in, scheduling, and answering any questions that may arise.
